Overview

Webinator consists of two programs. The indexing or walking program and the searching program. The gw program is the indexing portion of Webinator. It will create a database for HTML pages, retrieve pages from specified sites, and index them for searching with the Texis Web Script interface.

The search portion of Webinator is a program called Texis and a script written in the Texis Web Script language. (Support for the version 1 "webinator" program has been dropped.)
