$urlroot

The $urlroot variable is similar to $url, except that the resulting URL does not contain state information, nor is state-saving invoked. $urlroot is set once at startup, and can be used to obtain a ``plain'' URL to the script, eg. that will discard all EXPORTed variables upon invocation. The $urlroot variable was added Mar. 4 1997.
